I Bought a Bike!

I'm so excited. I just bought this vintage cruiser bike. It's not in the best condition... Ok it is kind of a piece, but I love it! Jared and I went and picked it up tonight. It wasn't too far from our house and Jared being the sweet husband he is, rode it all the way home for me. It was probably a good 2 mile ride, on a bike that is obviously too small for him. Thanks sweetheart! I can't wait to ride it myself!

Seamus

Pronounced Shea-mus. He is our sweet 3 and a half year old Yorkie. He is a funny dog who is obsessed with tennis balls, snuggling and keeping warm. We inherited him from my sister Julie and we love having him.

Gus

Gus was my first dog. He is a 4 year old maltipoo. This is one of my favorite pictures of Gus. He stole one of Seamus' favorite toys and wouldn't let the toy out of his sight. (the toy is the blue thing Gus has his front paws around.)

Our Children...

Part of the reason I haven't gotten into "blogging" is because I feel like you blog about your kids. We don't have kids to blog about. So I thought I'd add some pictures of our dogs. They are our children.

We have a visitor!

A couple of weeks ago Jared and I received so rather exciting news. Duane's (my step-dad) work gave him a new territory to cover and lucky for us he will now have to travel to Chicago, Illinois every so often... Chicago is only a quick 2 hours drive from Milwaukee! So May 1st Duane drove up to see us. It was a lot of fun to spend time with Duane and show him around Milwaukee. Poor Jared had a lot of studying to to in preparation for his finals, so Duane and I had to leave Jared at the school while we went exploring. We drove down by the lake, did a little shopping, went on the Miller brewery tour, and finished the day off with a Brewer's baseball game. It was a great weekend and we are so glad Duane will be able to spend sometime out in the Midwest!

New to Blogging

Ok, it's official, I am now a blogger. This is going to take some figuring out, but I will try very hard to keep this up to date!
A brief history of Jared and I: We were married June 24, 2008 and are now living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jared is attending Marquette University School of Dentistry. I am working at a local bank and trying to keep busy while Jared is studying.
