Gone up North
Last weekend Jared and I went "up north" (as we say it here in Wisconsin). Our great friends Dave and Summer Smart joined us on a visit to Scott and JoAnn's fabulous cottage. Now, when Jared gets "up north" all he wants to do is chop wood. Lucky for Jared and Dave, Scott had a tree in the yard that needed to be chopped down.

How fun! The cottage does look fabulous and I would have indulged in a good book as well. What is it about being outdoors that makes boys what to chop fire wood?
